Preparation
for Adamongus.com Website Forms
Below are the list
of questions that will be asked on our Content Input
Forms to get you started with a website. On any of the text areas
on the form itself, you can prepare the text in your favorite word program,
and paste it in the text sections in the form. We have developed this
preparation section so you will know what information we will need, and
make your start-up process that much easier. Checkboxes have been added
to this list so you can printout and use as a checklist.
Account Setup
Form
The
first information we need will be your name and contact information. After
that are the following questions.
Desired Template {This is where you select which
template you would like to use for your website. Visit our Template
Library and write down the template number that you would
like to start from.}
How many pages to your website? {This is where
you select from 1 to 15 pages for your site. We can easily do more pages,
just let us know how many and we will give you a cost.}
Your name for your website address {This is your
part of the URL name that visitors type in when going to your site.
It will be beside the hosting name that you choose. It can be the same
as your business name, an abbreviation of your business name, or a different
name altogether. See next question.}
Hosting domain name to use with this account {With
the Enterprise Plan, you enter your own domain name. With the 'Single
Page', and 'Business Web Site' plans, we offer inquiring.biz
as your domain used with a sub domain or sub directory (see below).
Your domain name, or URL, would be similar to 'yourbusiness.inquiring.biz',
or inquiring.biz/yourbusiness.}
Sub Domain or Sub Directory {A Sub-Domain is the
name in front of a domain name with a period separating the two. Example:
www.yourname.adamongus.com.
A Sub-Directory is the name after the domain name. Example: www.adamongus.com/yourname.
There is an extra charge for Sub-Domains.}
Maintenance Plan {A maintenance plan is an extra
service that allows you to designate changes to your site on a regular
basis, that we will do for you. These are changes like altering text,
adding, moving, or removing images, or updating certain content. Without
a maintenance plan, you can still request changes to your site for a

Choose a Username {Your Username will be how we
locate your files, and keep in contact with you. It can be your whole
or partial name, your business name, or a mix of 5 to 15 characters
in length. You
should keep record of this. It is
only for our administrative purposes and is not shared or used elsewhere.}
Choose a Password {Your Password will help identify
you and allow you to enter member only areas. Your Password can be a
mix of letters and numbers and should be between 5 and 15 characters
long. You should keep record of this.}
Referred By {This is our way of saying Thank-You
to whoever referred you. Just enter their Adamongus Username, and we
will pay them $10 by placing that money into their Paypal® account
once you have singed up. This works both ways of course. Each time you
refer someone to Adamongus, we will pay you another $10. Referrer must
be an active paying member of Adamongus.com}
How did you hear about adamongus.com? (If you weren't referred to this
site, please let us know how you heard about us.) {We
appreciate if you would let us know how you found Adamongus.com}
I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Policies Agreement{By
checking the box here, you indicate that you understand our policy,
and agree with our terms.}
Content Input
Form (Home Page)
This,
and any following forms represent the information you want shown on your
website, and also directly relate to how many pages you have chosen for
your site.
Website Name (Usually your business name) {This
is the name of your website, usually your business name, and will show
at the top of your website page.}
Sub title/catch-phrase text (Placed under Website Name) {If
you have a subtitle or short catch phrase you use with your business
name/website name, input it here, otherwise leave blank}
Your logo {This is where you will import your
logo image if you have one. Files must be a JPG, GIF, TIF, or EPS.}
Navigation Area {Supply your page title(s) here.
Input the names of the pages that you will have in your website. Keep
to single words (or 2 short words, 22 characters or less). Number of
names should correspond to the number of pages that you are requesting.
Follow each name you input with a "return". For a seven page
site, there should be a maximum of seven names/lines of text. You will
be asked to connect these names to your page titles on the following
form if you have a multi-page site.}
Supply text for area "A" {This is where
you start inputting your text for this page. There is a thumbnail image
of the template you choose next to these questions. The area of the
website page that this question is referring to is indicated by an A',
'B', or 'C' . See the sample below
of how the thumbnail image indicates where your text will go}

Supply text for area "B" {This is where
you input more text for this page. There is a thumbnail image of the
template you choose next to these questions. The area of the website
page that this question is referring to is indicated by an A',
'B', or 'C' . See above image sample}
Supply text for area "C" {This is where
you input more text for this page. There is a thumbnail image of the
template you choose next to these questions. The area of the website
page that this question is referring to is indicated by an A',
'B', or 'C' . See above image sample}
This is where you upload up to five of your images {If
you have images that you would like next to the text that you input,
or anywhere else on the page, this is where you import them. There is
an area that you can describe where you would like the image placed,
or if you would like a caption next to it.}
This is where you specify images that you would like to use from our
Image Library. {We have a large number of images
that you may select to use with your website. Just browse
our Image Library here, and indicate the image number,
along with a note regarding placement.}
This comments box is for any additional notes, text, captions, suggestions,
placement ideas, and questions. Separate subjects by double-returns.
{This box is self explanatory, and can be used
generally to provide more information about anything regarding your
site}
EXTRAS
and OPTIONS (There is no extra charges to have any of these Options
placed on your site.)
Meta keywords {Input meta keywords here. Meta
keywords are words that describe your business/site/content. These are
hidden and will not be seen by your visitors, they are used by search
engines. Supply up to 20 words separated by commas (Example for a cookie
site: cookies, cookie dough, chocolate, ...). Leave blank if you do
not wish to add.}
Meta description {Input your meta description
here. A meta description is a summary of what your website is about
in one sentence. Leave blank if you do not wish to add.}
Would you like a Guestbook{A Guestbook is a place
for your visitors to leave a message for you on your website. All comments
are automatically visible to all visitors. We will find the most appropriate
place for your Guestbook if you want one.}
Would you like a map-link to your address {A map-link
is a link to a map to your business. If you would like a maplink to
your business, we will place a link in an appropriate part of your site.}
Would you like a search-engine interface on your page {A
search-engine interface is basically a text box that someone can type
a word they would like searched on the www internet. By hitting the
submit, or 'find' button, a separate browser window will pop up with
results from their search query}
Would you like to link to other businesses and friends {This
is a place to link exchange with your partners or friends.Just
supply their URL address followed by the link name in parenthesis. Use
a 'Return' for each separate address. Example: www.adamongus.com (Adamongus)}
Would you like an information gathering form {This
form that we will set up for you can be a great way to ask questions
or survey of your visitors to get feedback. You may ask seven questions.
Questions can be from "Name?", and "Email?", to
"What is your favorite color?", and "Are you registered
to vote?"}
Content Input
Form (Inside Pages)
These
questions pertain to the content that you want on the inside pages of
your website. If you are ordering a one page site, then these questions
are not applicable to you. The questions below represent what is needed
on each additional page of you site. So if you have a seven page site,
you will need to fill out the questions below six times (the first page
content is filled out above, the remaining pages use the same questions
below).
Page title {Input
the title of your page here (this should be similar, if not the same
as the Navigation Area question regarding the pages
to your site)}
Navigation name. (In case this is different then
the Page Title (above), indicate the name you are using as the Navigation
name from the Navigation
Area question}
This is where you input all the text for this page and indicate about
where you would like your images to be placed. {Indicate
where your images are to be placed by using the marker <IMAGE1>,
<IMAGE2>, <IMAGE3> and so on, throughout your text, corresponding
to the images you are uploading in the next section. Use double-returns
to indicate a new subject paragraph.}
This is where you upload up to 7 of your images. {If
you have images that you would like next to the text that you input,
or anywhere else on the page, this is where you import them. There is
an area that you can describe where you would like the image placed,
or if you would like a caption next to it.}
This is where you specify images that you would like to use from our
Image Library. {We have a large number of images
that you may select to use with your website. Just browse
our Image Library here, and indicate the image number,
along with a note regarding placement.}
